We finally got the whole family together on Wednesday night! Wahoo!
Thursday morning, we were off on a family "hike" (aka nature walk)! In retrospect, the bright purple pants paired with the neon green shirt isn't my favorite choice of workout gear, but whatever.
Then, back to the house for some nap time and resting! We've decided having kids who need regular naps is a great way to do family vacations because it gives all the adults an excuse to "chillax" as well.
We were ready for some park time and a trip to the Corner Drug store for ice- cream as soon as the kids (aka adults!) were ready. Joe wanted in on the obstacle course challenge and I wanted a chance to redeem myself.
And he emerges victorious!
While attempting to improve his time from yesterday, Jer had a bit of a mis-step.
Yes, these pics are evidence that I made it to the top of the slide. I cut down my overall time by about 15 seconds.
After the business portion of our park visit was completed (we think we scared off some little kids- oops), we had a wonderful time playing with our two babes.
In case this is unclear, the picture below is me indicating that I don't want to see my brother-in-law shake it. He had some pretty sweet moves up there, though.
Look at these sweeties! My dad was there, too, but he didn't make it in any pics, darn it!
For our visit to the Corner Drug, Shana issued us all a challenge. We were only allowed to take ONE picture the entire time we were there (that's hard!). We then had to share it to our family's shared iCloud of trip pics. Then, she printed out each of our submissions and we all got to vote on our favorite one that best captured the essence of the ice-cream visit (she is so creative!).

Anna was in charge of dinner tonight- Hawaiian haystacks! YUM!
Then these crazies decided to go for a dip in the FREEZING COLD river for a few seconds before jumping back in to the hot tub. Every party has a pooper, that's why we invited you KATIE HOUSTON.
